Parkinsons Vs. Parkinsonism

I have been diagnosed with both Parkinsons AND Parkinsonism. My DATscan results said Parkinsonism. Are there other people who have been told you have both? What are your symptoms, prognosis and meds? I am on Carbidopa

My dat scan said I have a form of Parkinsonism, but I am having surgery for a fall.
My Doctor said it will take time to figure out which one.
Lewy bodies and Parkinsons disease are just two forms of parkinsonism.
