Yes, I take 18 pills a day. I was up to 32 pills a day which caused levodopa toxicity. This caused dramatic weight loss. I needed a feeding tube to put weight back on. I developed neuropathy. I also lost my ability to walk as well as fine motor skills. I had to spend 40 days in rehab to learn how to walk with a walker and. I was given tools tô compensate for loss of motor skills
