If it includes shortness of breath I've been having that problem off n on for three years but it seemed to be directly related to the pills I take and I found that I was experiencing side effects from the carbidopa levodopa and it took quite a while to finally get me on something that was much more tolerable called Rytary which I take along With one carbidopa 25 mg twice a day. Now today I've had shortness of breath after my second dose and I've learned not to question it too much because it's frustrating and I'm OK and I feel blessed that most of the time I'm feeling good
I recently worked with a physical therapist who not only helped me set up some basic simple physical exercises but also worked on building a positive can do attitude and movement based on good posture and "big" movements to counter the tendency to slouch and shuffle. I am overjoyed at the results from these exercises. This includes remembering to breathe deeply and move with confidence. When I have insomnia (2 or 3 times each week), I can slip into anxiety attacks and shortness of breath. I am building good mental and physical habits to counter these problems.
does the shortness of breath happen when your "off"? It makes sense to me that my diaphragm becomes tight and I have less air exchange, and my voice weakens on the phone
Thank you
