There are lots of books out there, one is called " How not to die " it covers most disorders, and then there's Michael J Fox's book. But you find much more information on this site, because we are all living with it ,and can tell what we have found that works, and then you can try it for yourself. All things won't work for everyone. But you will find that one thing comes up again and again. EXERCISE

You can call the National Parkinson Foundation and they have a booklet and pamphlets and a DVD with exercises. Our library system has a wealth of books and exercise DVDs. I just wish I had time to read it all.
Mediline has a very thorough book about PD and medicines for PD. Google it and if you have trouble finding it let me know and I will get the address where you can order the book.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member another member on this site recommended Hyland's Leg Cramps Ointment 2.50 oz and said he got great relief. I have been unable to turn over in bed but I got help from gapapentin for turning over in bed and putting my shoes on. Why not stick with us even if for a little while and ask questions and pick our brains. If you decide not to good luck and hugs and squishes right back to you.

There are a lot of books available, but you can get a lot of information on the internet free. Especially look at stress, diet, exercise, and some of the more esoteric exercises like boxing, yoga, and Tai Chi.
