I know that a lot people with Parkinson's have a drink with dinner, However, I am not sure how they time medication/alcohol. Moderation is key.

Check with your pharmacist. They're very helpful!

Joan thank you for your answer. So far I don't feel like the mirapex is doing anything. Did have a half of beer last night with no issues. I think going to ask my neurologist take me off of mirapex. Did you feel that it work for you at all

I've been told by two of my neurologists that a beer or a glass of wine is ok....I take 9 carbidopa/levodopa every day, one amantadine and a carb/levo ER at bedtime....however I feel better since I stopped having a glass of wine every night with dinner....I probably have at the most, two Hal glasses of wine each week and maybe one beer per week....and if I have that much in a week that's a lot for me. Since I quit drinking on a regular basis and went off my mirapex...which I was on for ten yrs, I have lost approx 30 lbs. I feel so much better!
