I have dystonia in my right foot. My neurologist, for over a year now, has given me botox injections every 4 mos. It has been very effective. Before the injections, I just exercised. I felt the need to walk it out.

I get Botox every 3 months in my foot for toe curling. I highly recommended it.

Another thing you might consider is having your partner learn the gentle massage that eases the stiffness and pain in the muscles. i generally fall asleep as i'm being massaged.
