Posted on May 27, 2021

Most cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) occur due to an unknown cause. Although researchers know that both hereditary and environmental factors influence a person’s risk for developing Parkinson’s, they don’t fully understand why some people get Parkinson’s and others don’t.

If you’re living with Parkinson’s disease (or you care for someone who has PD), you might be curious about what the research says regarding potential causes of the condition. Take this five-question quiz to better understand what may cause Parkinson’s.
