@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member: With every prescription that I pick up, there is a patient information sheet attached to the bag of each prescription. Without fail, each one has a paragraph that says, boiled down, if you miss taking your medication at the regular time, take it as soon as you remember. Then take your next dose at its regular time. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take your next dose at its regular time.

Re: MISSED MEDICATIONS
Almost every drug information papers that come with your prescription (here in the US they do) will advise you that if you miss taking your medication on your regular time, take it as soon as you can and take your next dosage at the regular time. If it is almost time for your next dose, forget about the missed one and take your next dose at your regular time.

Your pharmacist (chemist) can better inform you as to when the time lapse is too close to the next dose to the missed dose.

I am fine taking the morning medication, but because my job is caring for the elderly i am sometimes in the middle of a job and when I look at the clock it has gone passed my time to take the pill so others I have to adjust. Also lately I keep forgetting to reorder my meds, just been on holiday came back realised I didn't have anymore dinner so had to go without fir nearly a whole day, luckily I am on the neupro patch so I has ti cope with that, but it wasn't good, will look at using that tabtimer and try harder.

Mom takes sinemet. She gets stiff and tight if she misses a dose. As well, if she doesnt take it in isolation and has dairy with it, it doesnt work as well. She doesnt have to remember it, her body tells her she needs it!
