I have fallen 10 times in the last 18 months. I first noticed I was swaying standing still and that I could easily lose my balance and I now shuffle when I walk. I'm afraid to go out walking because just one little uneven dent in the pavement can cause a fall. I took weak legs/gait/balance PT for several months and now at home I do leg exercises every day to strengthen them. I have noticed some benefit. And I haven't fallen in several months!! bought some memory foam Sketchers , helped me a lot , really comfortable

I used to wear sandals in the summer but wanted more support and stability. Now I have Skechers instead. They have no heel, cover the toes and feel like a tennis shoe.

Have bought quite a few shoes over the last 2 years , sandals dont give me enough support around my ankles , get fed up having to wear clumpy shoes , when wearing dressess ! I dont want anything to flat or with heels , just something that looks a bit more lady like !!

That is so scary falling, but am glad the exercies are helping, my doctor tells me that we have to keep moving
