Thankfully my doctor welcomes any suggestions my husband or I have regarding my medications and the three of us come up with what we feel works the best. My husband pays attention to my reactions to my medications and can give my doctor a better idea of what works and what doesn't. A prior doctor was going to increase a medication because I was losing too much weight. My husband thought it was too much medication. We changed doctors and the new one immediately took me off the medication My weight improved. It really helps if you have someone who can observe side effects because they can see things you're not aware of.

Yes! I have halved my dosage on own. I get less tremor control , but also less of the stiffness and other side effects. At this point I don't care what the doctors say. I am going to do what works for me & to try other things that I find on this site and other sites that offer alternative treatments.
