Curious. I am currently on 200
Mgs a day, with No side effects, but doesn't help with anything either, so I'm guessing that my neurologist will up the dosage and check me in 6 weeks. I see him in 2 days. I heard people on here speak of side effects, so I wondering at what dosage began the side effects??

Amantadine is for Preventing and treating certain types of flu. It is used to treat PD and uncontrolled muscle movements caused by some medicines. It is an antiparkinson and antiviral agent.I would check and ask your doctor about some meds to go aaalong with that. Just a suggestion. I take it,but I take other meds with it.

You should get in touch with your Neurologist .You may be having a reaction to some other medications and this (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) listed no side effects that you mentioned. Am adding you to my team.Take Care God Bless Hugs 😂😂😂😂

Well, did some research for the medicine Amantadine.According to Druugs.com.this is and Antiviral medicine used to prevent an to treat a specific type of flu called influenza. This medicine is also used to treat Parkinson's an other movement disorders. There wasn't any type of side effects that was alarming that I could find.Hope this helps. TakeCare God Bless Hugs 😂😂😂😂
I take 100 mg 3/day and don't have any side effects except the strange purple lines on my legs. I started with 2/day as you did before I went to 3.
