I will go through periods where my balance is acting up and that is when I will have periods of falling......most of the time backwards. I have had a couple of bad falls ( saved the head ) but my last fall was head first and some how I messed up my left thumb. Have had x-rays and last week had MRI. Results this coming Thursday......more to come......getting pretty tired of this PD crap so if anyone knows something I don't know ....let me know LOL

As hard as it is you have to develop an exercise program that helps your balance -you can find videos of beginning yoga and keeping a,chair along side will help till u improve your balance

I did once, went to unplug something from the wall, and ooppppps landed on my back. Luckily I was near the dogs pillow. My balance goes front and back besides side to side. Sometimes I tip backwards and struggle to stay upright

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I am starting to get it more and more.At home its alright as long as I am not near the stove or an open fire.

What I typically do in places that I am familar with I stage myself in a hallway, near, furniture and other objects to break my fall or hold myself up.Have not mastered that in public.

Yes! I went to pull a plug from a low wall outlet and landed backwards in the dog bed so I didn't get hurt. This also happens when I get up from my sofa. I lose momentum and fall back.
