@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. When I first get out of the car or stand from sitting awhile my legs are very heavy. My left foot wants to drag a little. But once I get going I’m ok. Not as fast as I used to be.

The answer for me was the drug sinemet. It was night and day. I still use a cane half the time but I don't walk like Frankenstein...as much AND I can get out of a chair! I no longer have the constant stiffness. I still have pain but it is not so bad that I am clock watching for the next dose. I feel very much better!! There are challenges but I feel better, I feel like I am able to fight back! I have done a lot more studying and have found that the drug Sinemet DOES NOT CAUSE DYSKONESIA. It is a symptom of the PD. Not everyone gets it. It does not slow PD but it does improve living. This was the deciding factor that confirmed my diagnosis. It was amazing. Let me know how you are doing 😊

I will be 52 in October and my started with tremors in my right hand and now i am experimenting trouble walking like wading through water my knees hurt having headaches which started first after sex then and now they come and go and the tremors started in the right hand then it went to both hands
