I bought a Theracycle and ride it daily. I am up to the goal of 1 hour at 15mph which is 90 rpm. The whole idea of the Theracycle is “forced exercise” or what I call “passive pedaling.” The Bike does the workbfor you - most people cannot ride by themselves st 15mph for an hour on a regular bike. You even have to work up to it on the s Theracycle. It is the “Forced Exercise” that changes your Neurology for better walking and balance, etc. In a couple of months my normal stride and arm swing (which I had lost) was restored. I was able to stop taking my Carbi/Levo too! I have been off PD meds for 4 months now with no return of symptoms.
I also started Rock Steady Boxing 3 times a week got 90 minutes a class. Great thing and very helpful for regained strength and muscle and agility and balance! Love it!
I gave myself 1cc of Cyanocobalamine (Vitamin B12) every two weeks (Prescription - I cannot absorb it). I also take B3 and B Complex (OTC), Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Fish Oil, and Probiotics. I try to eat well - lots of healthy salads. I love making homemade soup, so do that a lot with chicken and veggies, or I make beef stew or beef vegetable soup, too. Otherwise, I really have not changed my diet much. I have been sodium free for years (heart required), and have eaten low fat, too.

I eat more raw vegetables now, and I am taking multi-vits, fish oil, coconut oil, and probiotics.

Think you should have all the info about the Theracycle you need. From just reading your post you have made up your mind. How are you enjoying it? Take Care God Bless Hugs 😃😃😃😃
Hi Guys - a couple of things. You could buy a stationary bicycle stand and a bicycle to put in it - which would be a lot cheaper than $4000. You can also buy training programs to motivate you.
On the other hand indoor spinning classes at your local gym are much more fun, you get the benefits of cycling with others.
Whatever you decide, do it - cycling is so beneficial to us with PD. I love it
