My husband continually has sores on the inside of his bottom lip. They look like canker sores but never seem to go away. He has asked his doctor and he doesn't know what they are. Does anyone else have this problem and is it related to Parkinson's?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, ask your dr about trying L-Lysine its a nutrient that helps me within one day of taking it. Some how it stops the pain in 1 day as well. I get Regular cancker soars. A dr. Told me about it and then i found out many people take. You only take it when the sores appear. By day 3 -5 they are gone.ive used it about 10 years now. You can get it in Walmart. But ask your dr first as you dont want any medicine interactions. Good luck. And let me know if you find any relief.
I too have them. So far nothing really works. I also having problems biting the inside of my cheeks. I sometimes use orajel.
This is from the PD messing up my jaw. My new dentist is knowledgeable but there is no answer.
Yes, I do. I have read various articles on the subject and it points mostly to stress.
Mouthwash with baking soda helps too0
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, they are hard to swallow but worth it. how long fid it take for you to notice a difference. Remember though you cant take them all the time.
I am taking it now!! Big help. Thanks
