I was in a serous car accident when in my late 20's hospitalize with a critical concussion for 3 weeks after. I was diagnosed in my mid 60's. Looking back there were many symptoms before diagnosis.

I never fell and I don't know of any one in my family that has or had Parkinson's.

I fell and landed on my back hitting my head very hard on the path about 12 months before being diagnosed. Have often wondered if the two are linked.

I was as a child beaten around the head by my so called father as we're my mum and siblings but am the only one with pd he died at 62 so don't know about my dx but I had genetic testing to see if I inherited this which came back negative.

My brother has PD, he had a large gate fall on him and he was knocked unconscious, three months after his shakes started. Medical professionals tell us there would be no link between the accident and PD. I think differently.
