First, everyone with questions should watch the documentary “The God Cells” you can find it on YouTube. There’s a big difference in the kind of stem cells you get. Most do not cross the blood brain barrier which is why you can get them here in the US because they are your own cells. These cells have proven to be good with joints and connective tissues but that’s as far as they go. I’m signed up for injections on the 18th of Feb with stem cell of America but the treatment is done in Tijuana Mexico. I’m hopeful for some positive results but I am keeping my expectations low. Yes, it’s very expensive and it’ll be the only “outside the box” thing I’m going to try. If it doesn’t work I’ll stick with my neurologists plan for treatment and move on; but, if it does have positive effects I’ll make sure and let everyone know. Again, please watch the documentary - it has a lot of info that explains the different types of cells and sheds a lot of light on the issues with the cells.
i woulden old my breaah waiting for stem cell terapy..that a very compicated area..just go on the internet and read a bet about th.at
I had the same response! However July I tried a experimental drug treatment in British Virgin Islands called FGF-1, which the benefits and trust me these are not small is 1 I have less cold intolerance 2 less constipation, everything else has worsened but I have MSA or some other form of a Parkinsonism and not your run of the mill Parkinson’s.
My experience is the same as Jill Cook’s, no benefit.
I had expensive stem cell treatment and would not do it again. I would not recommend it for Parkinson's. It's been since March that I was at Chicago doing stem cell treatment and see no benefits
