I presently use 2.5 mg of Mirapex ER in the morning, and find ethe trembles controllable.

I was on mirapex for awhile but didn’t like the way it made me feel. My Dr. put me on the Neupro patch and it has really helped me.

I took Mirapex for a couple of years or more with my first Neurologist. I gained 60 lbs. I fell asleep with food in my mouth & my husband had to watch me carefully the whole time. I kept going back to sleep after he woke me to tell me to chew my food, then he had to wake me up to swallow. I was drinking a cup of coffee talking to him & I woke up with coffee coming out of my nose & my coffee cup in my lap. It made him nervous for me to eat & he had to watch me like a hawk. I fell asleep talking to people, it was constant. My new Neurologist took me off of it my first apmt. He put me on a low carb diet that day & I lost all the weight. Be careful if taking Mirapex if you are falling asleep so easy & at odd times.

Helo Vickijo doo you have any side effect the side effect I told you earlyer are mostly notice by my wife ,I allwase liked to go out and party a little bit but she saise im wors than ever.

My doctor IS the one that increased my mirapex dose. I have better since than to do that on my own.
