Has anyone discovered their talent for painting pictures writing poetry etc?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - a subject...the art and science of teaching. It has fascinated me for the last 80 years or so. I won't say more than that - your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to present it in a format of your own choosing, covering whatever you feel is important.
I think you will find that there is plenty of territory to cover.
One other thought; since you no longer feel so low, try writing about something that makes you feel good, or perhaps what makes others feel good - that is often two for the price of one.
A beautiful work of Art. Dont stop believing in yourself. Therapy Talent has its place in the battle against PD.
Yes wrote and published 3 books dealing with Parkinson’s. One is a memoir of my 27 year journey with Parkinson’s and the other 2 are fiction, also centering around PD. I felt that I wanted to write for the Parkinson’s community. The most popular one is my biographical memoir. Im writing books 4 and 5, but have had writer’s block!! Ha ha!
Because of the tremors, I do spray paint art. Depending on what I use as my canvas; it can look like a watercolor.
@DorinneColeHaveLittleSisterCalledDystoniaNotVeryManyPeopleHaveThis, Lord, Dorinne, your username is way on out there! So, did you go try to upload a photo?
