Who Has A Service Dog To Help Them With Their PD
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am training a labordoodle to be a resource for me in the future. I know president bush (senior) had a service dog to help him I'm close to being 6 years in the PD club. Just wondering how service dogs help other PD people

I have a toy dog ( chinese crested, hairless). He helps me by laying on my lap and helping my muscles relax due to the warmth of his body heat as well as picks things up that I drop and gives them to me. He will also take off my socks for me. Now h e pays attention to anything unusual on the floor and gets it and gives it to me, lessening the chance that I might trip.

A dog as a pet helps everything. Reason to be. So loyal and loving.
