Mary,
Jen outlined a series of great supportive resources starting with local churches. You also can seek guidance locating resources simply by calling 211. Each state has a help line (211) which helps older adults and individuals with disabilities with referrals, identification of supportive resources, etc.. In addition some communities have town offices with at least one social service position to help citizens either locate resources or provide resources. I would also underscore returning to the doctors office where you were diagnosed. Prepare a list of questions you would like answers to and make sure to take notes. There also may be a Parkinson support group in your area.
If you have more specific questions, please post them online as there are thousands willing to share insight.
Just know you are not alone.

Mary, I don’t know where You live but most places have some kind of social services that help people who need it. If your town, township, county or state does not give you the help you need you can turn to local churches that help people. If you have trouble locating help, try calling the doctor’s office where you were diagnosed. They might be able to tell you who to contact for help. Good luck. Hugs

I understand that such feeling can exist but it is possible that it can get better. I was dygnosed 8 years ago at that time I had the feeling that I won't live two more years. I feel much better now than at that time. Fight it.

Hang on, hang on...it DOES get better with time, honest. I was diagnosed about the same time were and some days I'm just hanging on. If your MD is not making you feel cared for, leave him/her and find one who does.

On another note, who is that adorable baby?
