I am in need of finding a good bed that is easy for my mother to move around in and get out of. Any suggestions?

I've had trouble switching positions in bed over the past six months. One night I tried a fold out couch in another room which has a hard surface and a thin firm mattress on and I slept better and switched positions more easily. So far it still is better. So I recommend a more firm surface.
