I have been experiencing this regularly for the past few weeks. It is very unpleasant and I am completely unable to do anything AT ALL during these periods. Any experiences shared gratefully received.

This spring I had pain in my neck and shoulder. Luckily I was seeing my neurologist the following week. Based on tests performed it was determined that it was my sciatica nerve that was flaring up. I also get it in my lower back. That sensation feels like you’re going to fold backwards. I’ve been hospitalized for that as I could not get up without a shot of morphine. They kept in for 8 days until I could go without a shot for 24 hours. This spring my neurologist prescribed Amitriptyline 10 mg. Last week my back flared up again but not as bad as the time I went to the hospital . I started taking the medication which I take before going to bed. It cleared it up but it took 3 days. If you google SCIATICA AND PARKISONS there’s a lot of information that may pin point your problem . I hope this helps you find a way to relieve the pain cause pain brings on stress and stress is not good for people with Parkinson’s. Huggs jane

All I would say is see a physio who has experience with PD, and move, move, move when you can. Sarah King invigorate PT.com has some great advice I rate Sarah highly. Good luck
