This is concerning my husband. Sometimes he tries to read me something or tell me something that happened at work, etc. but starts laughing soo hard he cant finish. Its not a loud laugh. Many times it is a seriuos thing he is trying to tell me. We have read a little about "inappropriate " laughter.
There is a name for it called PBA. Sometimes its related to medication but my hubs doesnt take any parkinson meds yet. It is a type of "condition" that can occur with PD and other things. We are going to talk to the dr more about it.
Glad you mentioned this. I find myself laughing at the smallest things at times and don't know why and notice others aren't laughing. Before this occurred I hardly ever laughed. What is this about?
Hello @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, I am sorry but I have been having technical problems with this sight and have not been able to view any of my notifications or post how my day is. Do not know what the problem is. I have received no notifications or emails from the admin of this site, as to what the problem is or if I have unknowingly breeched some site rule. I am at a loss to know what tio do next. Linda
Jewel,
Its for my husband that has PD. He doesnt take meds yet, but did mention it to the dr. Its not a big problem right now, but still wondering. So far, it has only happened with me.
Thank you!
