My wife used domperidone for nausea at the start of her sinemet regimen. After a while she no longer needed it. That was 20 years ago. It worked for her then.

Ask your specialist about trying Domperidone. Look Domperidone up in Wiki. It helps with heartburn and nausea. I take it about 15 minutes before other meds.

My wife suffered similar symptoms when she was first diagnosed and her neurologist switched her c/l to Rytary. Is basically the same c/l medication, except that is time release.
That being said, I noticed her "off times" got worse. I think the "time-release" feature of Rytary was not giving her enough medication at once.
Now her neurologist has added a disolvable c/l to take with the regular dose of Rytary.
Worth talking to your Neuro and ask for their opinion.

I tried the Neupro transdermal patches & still got violently nauseated with vomiting.

Frustrating!

I have been unable to take medication due to the severe nausea side effect. I am currently awaiting word as to whether I am going to be able to try a new form of the med in an inhaler mist form.
