I would say, just follow the dietitian's instructions. They specialize in these types of problems. Your doctor should be able to give you a referral.

There are dysphagia cookbooks on Amazon. You can buy them used for very little.

Hi,Yes protein can just suck up Sinement.I had a doctor's visit and always know it's going to be a wait and had taken a endure with me and drank it too close to my sinemet dose and right away went into a off period, The ensure just soak up that does,Watch my timings closer now.I had quick smoking and weight is coming on,as of this point,Gain 30lbs and still gaining.Dont want to much weight on,I always had a big appetite, but never gained weight, Must be my age and not moving around like I use to.Have CV to start walking more.

Really I was told protein shakes work against the levodopa so I stopped that long ago my weight has been holding for past couple years

Hi,I had lost a 2 waist sizes,My internist who has parkinsons also told me to eat alot of fruit,its very hard for me eating,I have that 1/2 hour before and after dinner,I been on my every two Sinement dosage for 5 years now,Approximately off the top of my head 25 pills a day.Exercising with physical therapy, Gaining muscle,Which is registering some weight gain.Trying to pick on food as much time as I can.Stay well my Parkinsons family.
