Starting Sinimet
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I started S today, 1/2 tablet (25/100) three times a day. I’m mid stage 1. When should I expect to see positive changes? Is it normal to feel sleepy and mild fog brain?

It took me a couple of weeks, at least, and I had to move gradually up in dose. Now, I've been able to move down again, as physical therapy and more fairly intense exercise is helping.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Do you know how high it goes? I have nausea with the dose I'm on now.

I received positive results when I first went on about 18 months ago. More energy, I looked better, not that blank look (masking) and felt better all around. Wishing you the best.

I found it did great things for me, I felt like my old self, however when I started it I also started Rock Steady Boxing. It was great for about 18 months now I just upped the dose a little bit.
All the best,
Hal
