I was just diagnosed about a week ago and haven't been prescribed medication yet. But a year ago, maybe two years, when I knew nothing about Parkinson's, the symptoms began. First was the tiny handwriting, then the slow walk. I also became more and more unsure of my footing and felt imbalanced. I chalked it up to old age. It was only a few months ago that the trembling began. My doctor attributed it to anxiety and prescribed Lexipro. But a friend whose mother had Parkinson's recognized the shaking as a symptom. Now my writing is normal, I walk at a normal speed and have no balance problem. Only some slight trembling when I wake up in the morning, which stops when I stand up. That's why I asked if symptoms can disappear.

Maybe medication has caused it to disappear? Ask your doc!
