Spinal Stenosis
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone know if there is a connection between spinal stenosis and Parkinson’s. I have recently come across three other people who have been diagnosed with both. Is this just coincidence.

My husband went to his GP and because he was having lots of pain in his legs he sent him for MRI. Results came back and he had a couple of ruptured discs and all the rest from waist down were bulging. He was then diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis.

My husband has both. It was difficult to get his PD diagnosed as the doctors blamed his mobility problems on spinal stenosis.
