It didn’t work out so well for me I can get out of bed. The pain was brutal as a major setback. Does anyone have any experience with stem therapy?

I don't know what stem wave therapy is but I have a spinal cord stimulator in my back because I have spinal stenosis and discs that are compressing my spinal cord when I stand

That sounds really painful and frustrating, especially when you were hoping for some relief. Recovering from a fracture while managing Parkinson's is genuinely tough, and it makes sense you were looking for options.

StemWave therapy (a form of acoustic wave therapy) isn't something widely discussed in the Parkinson's community specifically, so shared experiences on this are limited here.

What is well-supported for people with Parkinson's dealing with pain and mobility challenges includes:

- Physical therapy — can help with balance, strength, and movement recovery
- Occupational therapy — helps adapt daily tasks while you heal
- Medication review — your neurologist may be able to adjust your plan to better manage pain alongside your Parkinson's symptoms

Given that the therapy caused a significant setback, it would be really worth letting your doctor know what happened. They can help reassess your recovery plan and make sure your Parkinson's medications are still working well for you during this difficult time.
