I Have Problems With The Right Keys On My Tablet Or Phone Screen
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

When my fingers are so jerky, I have a hard time hitting the right keys. Sometimes it takes a dozen times, especially to put something in the space bar (is that the right word?) for searching. It doesn’t have words that pop up to help you.

Try some of the newer voice to text applications they are much better than a decade ago when i tried for work, they are available for pc's tablets and phones. Once you have finished dictating do the spell check, they are much more attentive by the way you setup recognising accents and colloquialisms and even local , copy text to where you need them. That's the only way i cope, otherwise i have to read 3-4 times correcting errors after spell check - brought up as child with "good spelling is very important as to how people relate and class you which is of course partially true but in our PD world TOTAL BS. - Andy

Kathleen you can either use microphone built into PC, or bluetooth headset if your pc has bluetooth or buy a good quality usb microphone relatively cheaply. i use a combo of built in microphone and my bluetooth speakers and headphones. Feel free to ask any more IT type questions i was in the industry for near on 30yrs so i understand the basics.
