My husband was diagnosed in June. I called the Parkinsons foundation for info for a movement disorder Dr. I asked several questions about drug cost etc...she informed me that all veterans are entitled to Parkinsons meds due to the fact that they don't know what causes it. One less worry. My husband hasn't started drugs yet, but I believe he will with his next appt.

I couldn't afford Azilect either so doc put me on Selegilene. It's working extremely well.

John, check directly with the manufacturer....they may have an omsbudman that may be able to give you some price relief if you show it busts your budget . Nothing to lose, give it a try and good luck !

Have your Dr write a letter to the insurance company. It worked for me with Humana
