Who has found after dbs treatment that they can stop taking all pd meds.?
Who has found after dbs that people including pd professionals cannot tell they have pd anymore?

DBS treatment does not mean that you are cured of PD. It is still there.

I had a bad reaction to carbidopa-levodopa and stopped after just 5 days. I was nauseous but mostly my head felt strange and I could barely function. I would be very interested in hearing about your reaction/allergy to this drug if you took that one.

My nephew had the DBS put in this past summer. He was taking 6-8 carbidopa/levodopa 4 times a day plus other meds. He is only taking 1 c/l 3 times a day. His tremors are gone, his speech is very good, his energy level is so much better. His mouth was locking up—that has stopped.
