UK uses names and brands and US uses types like pop or soda. Australia more importantly calls it soft drink or uses product name i.e. Coke Zero or 7up or Ginger Ale or brand & product name combination ie Schweppes Tonic Water. What the hell as long as i dont get pespi when i specifically ask for coke zero hahahaha

Soda-Texas. Pop-Illinois
Here’s one that caused me difficulty when told to turn left at the tank.
Tank in Illinois is a metal circular sitting on ground to hold liquids.
In Texas a tank is a large hole formed by removing soil and used to collect rain water.
In Illinois that is a pond.
