There's no connection between my brain and my legs. I know my legs work because I'm standing on them. So I have to force my legs to move and I stumble alot. I already have balance issues, so this doesn't work. I do construction, and it's hard when you can't walk.
Yes, this is so true. My Wonderful Wife, Barbara, is always saying to me, heel to toe, heel to toe, when she sees me dragging my feet. We have to get going and start working out again. We haven't really walked, since our oldest son "Sunny" past away on 12/28/2018. He was only 36 yo. He was our strength, our rock. We try to get up and walk, but something comes up, and we don't walk. We have a stationary bike and an elliptical machine on the back porch. But they are just collecting dust. We need someone to push us and get us going, like our son did.
Sometimes I just have to concentrate on swinging my arms and not dragging my right foot. Like marching. Get a rhythm going
My legs never work with the rest of my body let alone my brain. I think they have a brain of their own. I'm always falling, at least once a day not I'm lucky.
Yes, I’m having a very hard time walking. I have not spoken to my doctor in a few weeks and to be honest I am afraid to take any meds. I’m taking carbidopa-levadopa 3. 1/2 pills 3x d da ily. I go to PT 3 times a week. But I l only been having this problem for about 4 weeks. I don’t know what the next step is. I’m going t read all of the comments. I just found this site about a week ago. Good luck.
Thanks so much
Patricia
Sometimes my legs feel so weak that I feel I have to sit down
