15 years before being diagnosed with PD I started smelling burning wax when there was none. It would last for several seconds and would come and go no matter where I was in the world. I am posting symptoms on my page.
I smell plastic, frequently (daily), but only for a minute or two. It's very fragrant, as if opening the packaging for a beach ball.
Many people who have phantom smells say they smell smoke too
Thanks for sharing I believe there’s more people with Parkinson’s disease but have that that don’t realize that it’s connected. I don’t think the doctors know it’s connected but I believe it is
My husband say he smell smoke or some is smokeing what is phantoms smell
