Does Your Thyroid Effect Your PD/Lewy Bodies

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband is going thru some thyroid med adjustments and is experiencing more extensive confusion and hallucinations. The only thing that has changed is the thyroid medicine ..... Has anyone gone thru something similar???
thanks,
Teresa

Neurologist confirmed that thyroid disease does in fact affect a person's cognition, orientation, and worsen dementia.
AND of course the thyroid medicine adjustments take weeks to show any results.....
Another bump in the road .....
