Would an anti anxiety med help with stress induced tremors if the patient also has Parkinson’s?
My physical therapist said sometime they teach a pt. to make a fist with both hands then throw hands down and open fists.Repeat 4-5 times in a row. use this for any fine motor skills ie opening a jar, button a button, before writing etc or when you need strength in your hands. She called them' hand flicks.' I can't tell you to do these I just wanted to share with you what was taught to me.Hope you have a good night and stay safe.
Not necessarily Pd. Did you know that just 10% dehydration causes fuzzy short term memory loss and difficulty concentrating on a computer screen? I have not forgotten anything in years....I’m just chronically dehydrated. 😇
I don’t know if it helps my tremors, but I do use one dose each night at bedtime. It seems to turn off the speed of my thoughts so I can sleep a little better. It may even help with leg movements at night, but frankly I am not so sure about that; it could be the levadopa.
W/PD, my writing is at times are unreadable. I think a memory voice recorder might work out for me. I think that's a good idea you gave! Made me put on my thinking cap again! LOL :)
Harmonicaman: Did you try keeping a writing pad with you and writing down what you have to do or get in the other room? Then before you leave the room your in say what you wrote out loud, 3 times and try to concentrate when you say it. But keep the pad and pen on you in a pocket, tie it around your wrist, make a long necklace etc. Keep it on you. It's easy to forget where you left it. Only a suggestion. Good luck and stay safe.
