Sounds like more is going on ...does he have dementia? Temperature regulation, if I remember right, is in cerebellum area and in the older part of the brain. What does his neurologist say? What to do? If it doesn't hurt him, it's his experience and you may just have to go along. So sorry you have to go through this.
