That internal "shaky" or nervous feeling throughout the body is something many people with Parkinson's describe, and it's more common than you might think. It's different from visible tremors — it's more like an inner vibration or jitteriness. You're definitely not alone in this.

The constant cold feeling is also very much connected to Parkinson's. The autonomic nervous system, which helps regulate body temperature, can be affected. This means the body sometimes struggles to keep itself warm properly.

A MyParkinsonsTeam member described it well: "It feels like having a fever constantly. I'm warm for five minutes, then cold, then warm." Another said, "This winter, I was freezing cold and could not get warm." Some things that may help with the cold feeling include:

- Layering clothing to trap body heat
- Staying indoors during very cold weather when possible
- Warm drinks and blankets to help regulate comfort
- Gentle movement to help stimulate circulation

Since this is relatively new following a recent diagnosis, it's really worth mentioning both the internal shakiness and the cold sensitivity to your neurologist. They can help figure out if any medications or therapies might help manage these symptoms.

The way it is hot, cold, feverish, fatigue. Pray for some chicken soup or ask for other specialty "help."
I remember "help" as a bowl, or two, of hot seafood okra filet gumbo, and mayonaise (egg salad)....Q
