I had the exact same thing. It was like restless body syndrome. It’s your dopamine level is low. My doctor prescribed carbidopa/levodopa ER at bedtime and they helped a lot. Over times as my PD worsened i did have to take something for sleep as well. But lack of sleep really messed with my symptoms. Take care

Have you tried neupro patches? I have been using them for years... I ran out a few months ago - couldn’t get them approved and they are $$$ but my doctor ( who is amazing ) gives them to me! I have severe pain in my legs at night and the patches make it bearable that and three muscle relaxers along with my other meds and I can sleep at least four hours! Sometimes more - hopefully you will feel better .,, everyday is a new day

Yes Dannyboy, my husband has this problem. He has always had restless legs (I call it restless body, as his whole body moves) but since he has gotten PD it's much worse. It drives him crazy & he finds it really hard to sleep. He also has violent dreams and wakes up trying to hit someone. It's very hard to deal with.
