I have just one question, which concerns a little known side effect of carbidopa levodopa--which is hair thinning... This medication has been terrific for me in terms of getting rid of fatigue and helping me with movement--so if all it does is thin my hair, I don't care! --but I'd like to know, if anyone else has dealt with this side effect, how severe this can get---will it all fall out??...And are there supplements or other meds to help....?
I am nearing 8 years on C/L and have noticed hair thinning this past year or so. I am trying Biotin may be helping a little or just wishful thinking. I dont wash hair as often. And no longer get highlights so just trying to keep hair as healthy as i can. I also notice my skin very dry on arms, legs and my back same time frame.
I have to say I've also noticed hair thinning. My hairdresser asked me about a year ago if I was on a medicine that was causing hair loss. She said it looked like that to her. So now I wonder too...

Yes yes yes... i have experienced hair thinning. BUMMMER.....
Here is what i do:
Take saw palmetto every day. Comes in a capsule 550 mg. Takre two. Please look it up on line -- it has something to do with free testosterone and binding to it... blah blah blah..
prevents hairloss to some degree. I have been using it for years and i believe it has helped prevent more loss.
