Mouth And Lip Sores
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My mouth is very dry and has sores on the cheeks, tongue and lips (swollen and cracked). My pharmacist said it could be eldepryl so we slowly stopped that with no change. He also said that it could be zoloft. Has anyone had this painful problem?

My bottom lip is swollen & cracked, but it's because I fell full weight into my armoire d/t my poor sense of balance! Had a nice shiner, too.. No fun, this P.D. If it isn't one thing it's another!

My dentist recommended Biotine mouth rinse. It helps me a lot.

You might try putting Milk of Magnesia on the sores, I have done this in the past and it helps to make them less painful and seemed to heal faster...

I have been to 3 dentists , an oral surgeon and a dermatologist with no answers. Thank you for your suggestion.

I would go to the Dr as soon as I could.
