Parkinson's with dementia....also wants to spit so much even at the table after eating....makes you stay away from groups
I read that it's about 30% that end up with dementia, though some articles I've read give a higher number.
Mine is here to say and has been for a while. At 58 it is really hard not remembering basic things, like dates, name numbers. I try to call it a senior moment, but in truth I know it is much more and progressing faster than I would like. My husband is feeling to pressure also.
I have PD so dementia is rare until late in the disease. Well mine started about the same time. Donezepil worked wonders.
I was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My doctor said that the percentage, in his opinion, most of us end up under the Dementia umbrella, especially at stage 5. My Neuropsychologist who does the testing said he sees about 70%. But we all have our own path so don't assume!
I've noticed that I forget words, places and time. I slump over when I up right.
