Has anyone read about Colin Poter’s “Parkinson’s Recovery Plan”?
Has anyone tried it out.
It sounds to go to be true but I may try it out.

Hi Sue18. I’ve started a high fat low carb diet and it is a lot of work in the beginning. Mostly you just stop eating sugar, chips and other junk food we all get into. I’ve only been doing it for 4 weeks and already find that my symptoms are changing and my energy level is climbing. It’s way to soon for any real change but it is changing. I’m going to keep it up for at least 3 months an see what happens.
I take mirapex for my legs and klonopin 1mg. for my sleeping disorders. PLMS
RLS. REM acting out my dreams
I second the "Please keep us posted" about if it helps.
It appears that the right kind of fats are key for the brain, especially with PD. MCT oil, coconut oil, etc. No canola or corn oils. So as a vegan you likely were not getting enough healthy fats.
I was eating vegan for at least a year, maybe close to 2, before this. I like that way of eating nut wondered if I had starved my body of something essential since I got pd symptoms right after. Tried to do ketogenic but it was very hard and was told by doctor's office to be careful with it. I quit that.
