Just now seeing this question! And I’m deeply sorry for those who’ve had a bad experience with Amantadine. For me, REGULAR Amantadine was one of the myriad of meds I tried in my earlier years (probably 10-11 yrs ago now), and like too many of the other options it didn’t help much at all. Fast forward several yrs (Jan, ‘18) and a new time-released version of Amantadine (GOCOVRI) made an enormous difference — almost life-changing! Gave me back good balance & improved my speech profoundly! I would recommend it.
