I had no problem at all. Of curse, the place in my scalp were the surgery was done is ender, but no pain, nothing that worries me. I do not have any wires problem.
I really recommend to everybody that has opportunity, to do that - DBS surgery!

Bean
My scalp itches a lot I do not have wires protruding out of my scalp
But my wires are prominent they bulge out behind my ear and the stimulater box in my abdomen protrudes up and can be easily felt I some times think it’s trying to dig it’s way out. Bean if your wires has broken the skin of your head you need to see the surgical team that fitted it
