Dealing with achilles tendinitis now -- can't go back to physical therapy until Covid omicron situation more clear. We have exercises on paper and video and I am trying to work up a program that is safe and not too hard for PD husband. Any suggestions/tips? Thanks.

yes! My podiatrist told me some time back to pull my toes straight when i think about it. This strengths the toes. My toes on my right foot have improved so much that t hey are almost straight again. Truly it works and I have only straighten my toes when I have a bath. not that often. Hugs Rosie🙂

I do large.letters of alphabet and small letters draw.in air with feet. Helps to stretch ankle area. Lay on bed and one at a time draw with for large letter A-B-C... At your pace... Then small letters a-b-c same. It really stretches ankle area!

My dad has a set of exercises my mom does with him at home. It is very important to stay active. He sits in the chair and does his exercises. Maybe call pt place near you and ask for exercises you can do at home or get pt consult in home. They come to you.

thank you everyone! husband's experiences so far:
* ice worked very well in the past, but he doesn't want to do that in the winter
* Voltaren we can't take because he has high blood pressure
* researching kingbrand.com now
* as soon as Covid surge down more we can get back to physical therapy
* the podiatrist gave us some exercises, but as soon as we did some, he got terrible swelling so we quit -- must have been doing them incorrectly
* standing up on tippy toes -- we are trying to do 30 every day -- this seems to help a lot
* pulling toes back helps, but my husband doesn't like me to do it unless he is having cramps -- working on how to do this more often...
