Yes it does cause pain. Muscles ache and joints are stiff. My legs get stiff and lock up. It,s awful.
Good question, I have PD and I have pain in my muscles and joints. Sometimes I feel the stiffness of my muscles due to PD does cause the pain, but the first neurologist I went to said PD does not cause pain. I think it does but I am not a doctor.
Yes, PD most certainly can cause pain, but not for everyone, and each person experiences that pain differently, if and when they do experience it. Check with your doctor and see if he has something to help.

In my current condition, estimate 4 years of PD, only diagnosed last Nov.
It does not CAUSE the pain, however it does make me feel that any pain I incur is multiplied in intensity by PD.
At 74 with a life of multiple maladies (stroke, cancer, severe car accident real whiplash, and others) it is really hard to know what is new verses old pains that with age just ache more than ever. However this is my case the one constant is every case is different.
Wishing you a better tomorrow than today

Hi Bruce you have been through so much you sound like you are strong willed I feel like when I have pain in my back it seems like Parkinson's elevates the pain but I take it one day at a time you have a blessed evening
