If eating is impossible for you then perhaps drinking it would be better. Mix up some vegetables with lots of fruit and blend it to a pleasant consistency. This will supply you with most of your daily requirements. You can mix in most of the rest of your requirements with nuts and legumes.

I have lost more than 50# since diagnosis. I have no idea why. I didn’t think I had changed a thing, but I definitely lost weight. Of course I could stand to lose some weight, and I can still stand to lose more. I’m planning to start going to the gym. I have definitely lost strength and I’d like to get that back. I also plan to change my diet to eat healthier. If I’m tracking what I eat I’ll be more likely not to lose weight arbitrarily.

Parkinson’s does dampen and sometimes eliminate your sense of taste. It’s hard to have an appetite when everything tastes like cardboard.

Even without this issue Parkinson’s often causes weight loss, even with a healthy appetite.

If you have no appetite and are losing weight, your headed for malnutrition. You need to get your nutrients. You don’t necessarily need to eat them. See your doctor to find out the best way to get proper nutrients or get a referral to a nutritionist.
